Day 1 — Damascus: where the flavours begin

Airport pickup, then a tour of the Old City of Damascus. Taste shawarma, falafel and hand-pounded Arabic ice cream, and walk through Souq al-Bzourieh with its spices, herbs and sweets. Overnight in Damascus.
Day 2 — Aleppo: the food capital

Transfer to Aleppo for authentic Aleppo kebab, a tasting of kibbeh in its many forms, and sweets made with Aleppo pistachio. Overnight in Aleppo.
Day 3 — Latakia: the taste of the sea

On to Latakia for a seafood lunch — fresh fish and grilled seafood — followed by time by the water. Overnight in Latakia.
Day 4 — Tartus: a local experience

A day in Tartus for local food in a neighbourhood restaurant or a Syrian home, with traditional home-cooked dishes. Return to Latakia for the night.
Day 5 — Damascus: a sweet finish
The drive back to Damascus and a final sweets tasting — kunafa or whatever is best that day — before the transfer to the airport.
