Day 1 — Arrival in Damascus and straight to the coast

Airport pickup on arrival in Damascus, then straight on to Latakia. Arrive and settle in with an easy first evening by the sea, staying in a four or five-star hotel in Latakia.
Day 2 — A full beach day

A free morning by the sea at a beach club or a private beach, with optional activities: jet ski, swimming and boats. Seafood lunch, and a second night in Latakia.
Day 3 — Kasab: escaping the heat

A trip up to Kasab, a cool mountain area of pine forest. Time at a café with a view, lunch out in the open, and plenty of scenery for photographs, before returning to Latakia for the night.
Day 4 — Tartus and Arwad island

South to Tartus, then a boat across to Arwad island for a seafood lunch and free time on the island, before heading back to Latakia to sleep.
Day 5 — Back to Damascus and departure
The return to Damascus with some easy time in a café or the souq, then the transfer to the airport.
